Join NGA’s Steve Edmonds, Director of Advice and Guidance and Rani Kaur, Head of Advice as they provide an overview of the safeguarding responsibilities of governing boards and how governance ensures schools and trusts create a safe environment for children and young people. Steve and Rani also cover recent changes to the Keeping children safe in education statutory guidance, of which all boards should be aware.

Rani oversees NGA’s Advice team and GOLDline service. She leads on the SEND and premises management policy areas and manages NGA’s work on equality, diversity and inclusion. She is co-chair of an infant and nursery school in Solihull.
