In this webinar, as well as relaying the latest views from key sector voices, we explore what we mean by ‘disadvantage’ and how governing boards can work with school leaders to develop a strategic and evidence-based approach to addressing disadvantage in their own settings. We also look at the importance of involving stakeholders in improving the learning experience for ‘disadvantaged’ pupils.
Former Chief Executive
After 14 years with NGA, Emma has departed from her role as Chief Executive. During her tenure, Emma was a strong advocate for the school governance community, engaging with legislators, policymakers, education sector organisations, and the media on a national level.
Policy and Projects Manager
Fiona oversees NGA’s parliamentary engagement, representing the views of governors and trustees at national level and supporting them in their strategic leadership of education settings.
