Cyber security in schools and trusts
Build your cyber security awareness and ensure your school or trust has the right controls in place.
Cyber security is the protection of electronic devices, services and networks – and the information on them – from theft or damage.
Schools and trusts are increasingly reliant on digital technology for a range of functions and so must have robust procedures in place to protect against a cyber attack.
Governing boards have strategic oversight of their school or trust’s cyber security. This requires governors and trustees to have sufficient knowledge and understanding to inform conversations with school leaders about managing cyber security risks.
Our cyber security monitoring tool covers:
- building cyber security awareness and understanding
- ensuring the right controls are in place
- protecting against loss, damage or theft
- readiness to respond to a cyber attack
- promoting vigilance and resilience
