Partnership opportunities
Through our partnerships, we develop professional development programmes to ensure that children and young people have access to the education they deserve.
We work with a wide variety of organisations including national partnerships and government departments to develop bespoke training and programmes that improve governance effectiveness.
By combining our governance expertise with our partners’ local knowledge and resources, we can maximise the impact of our work.
We have done this in innovative ways including:
- combining to make successful joint funding applications such as the Bristol Leadership for Learning SSIF bid
- delivering public access face-to-face training programmes for partners like Tower Hamlets Governor Services and Birmingham City Council
- designing and delivering governance development input into senior leadership programmes such as ASCL’s National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership
- creating focused e-learning modules, including for the Arts Council on the theme of ‘Arts and cultural education: improving your school and its curriculum’
- designing and delivering blended governance elements of school improvement programmes, incorporating approaches such as board evaluation, face-to-face training and e-learning for partners such as Bristol Leadership for Learning
- using DfE funding to provide a dedicated development programme for trustees, chairs and aspiring chairs for Kent Catholic Schools Partnership, a multi academy trust
