These four specialist programmes help current and aspiring chairs to develop their skills in delivering effective leadership.

To help chairs and future chairs meet the challenge, NGA offers four distinct specialist setting-specific programmes. Each programme equips participants with the skills, knowledge and understanding to deliver effective board leadership in their own setting.

You can complement and extend your learning by purchasing add-ons during this programme:

  • A 360 review to highlight strengths and areas for development, with a repeat review at the end of the programme and a comparator report to demonstrate impact. The review will be appropriate for your role, whether you are a chair, vice-chair or aspiring chair. The 360 review can be carried out within a 12-month period.
  • Mentoring from an NGA consultant, via phone or a virtual face-to-face platform, with individual support and advice tailored to you.
