Policy review schedule
Use our template to plan a review schedule, manage the board’s business, access useful guidance and ensure compliance.
Our policy review schedules have been updated in line with the Department for Education's governance guides.
Writing policies is an operational task carried out by school/trust staff, often using a model version provided by a local authority or academy trust.
Governing boards must ensure that the school/trust policies required by law are in place, have been approved and are working well.
Reviewing and approving policies will inevitably take up governing time, especially in meetings. Our policy review schedules are designed to make this process more manageable.
